This is us; Beatrice and Alexander, the faces behind the project :-), living in the Philippines since 1983.

Beatrice "Bea" is a professional fashion photographer and has a deep rooted, intuitive feeling for forms, shapes and colors, she is the interior designer of the project.

Alexander "Ala" has grown up with and is educated in the construction business and brings the German eye for precision and quality to the site.

We just celebrated our silver wedding anniversary - yes, we are very happy together and this is one proof that - we care.

We have 3 sons and one adopted daughter, our family is very close and supportive of one another.

We deem our planet earth more than worthwhile of our consideration and protection.

There is a "new race" on the planet right now - people who care; do you belong to them?

If your answer is yes, you belong here at Boracay4u, were we wish to attract such people.

We believe that in joining hands each individual's strength is amplified.

In our early years, when there was only a single doctor and one single nurse on the island, friends from Germany sent medical supplies that we distributed free of charge among the underprivileged.

Many hands have joined our initiative in launching the first reef rehabilitation project on Boracay in 2005.

In joining hands with our fellow Rotarians we were able to help build 28 brand new homes for desperate families after typhoon Seniang devastated the island in Dec. 2006 - and do major repairs on another 10 houses.

In joining hands, not only with our friends in Rotary, but with other builders and contractors on the island we helped building a brand new kindergarten classroom - after the same typhoon had destroyed schools on the island.

There are many more community service projects we enjoyed helping in and even more that are yet undone.
